Apart from the the Aims stated in FAQ1 the website aims to achieve many objectives some of which are listed below:

• Keep all interested parties in touch with the Regiment and and its people.
  
• Provide an on-line meeting place and centre of activity for its members.
  
• Centralise digital copies of Regimental photos in an on-line photo album which will eventually be entrusted to a relevant museum or other appropriate body.
  
• Provide information on Regimental events and reunions.
  
• Engender and rekindle the spirit of comradeship amongst ex-members of the Kings Own Royal Border Regiment its heirs and successors.
  
• Provide a discussion forum where member can voice their opinions about diverse topics of mutual interest.
  
• Etc. etc. etc.
  

This list is by no means comprehensive and will be reviewed and revised in consultation with the members.
